Hey guys. Glad to come and join ya'll. I'm in the process of trying to find a dually to buy and build as a daily driver and to pull our 28' race trailer. I built a lowered C3500 back in the day that was a feature truck in Truckin' Magazine and currently have a lowered '11 Ram crew sport. I look forward to building another dually!!

We race something a little different than the normal race car. We have an electric powered dragster built with and based on a golf cart rear end, motor and body work. We currently hold the NEDRA world record for the "B" voltage class dragsters with a best 1/8th mile pass of 6.54 @ 99.91 with me driving. It's actually run 101.06 mph in the 1/8th with a skinny driver. It's powered by a battery pack consisting of 30 remote control airplane LiPo batteries. The dragster produces 222 volts, 2000 amps and 270 hp.

Here's a pic of the dragster and our matching pit cart.

Welcome from Southern IL.
Cool dragster. I see from your youtube vids you guys have been to Dom's track in Sikeston, whenever you head there again let me know. Harrisburg and I-57 are my local tracks, but Sikeston is pretty close too.

Thanks and will do. We were running in the NEDRA Nationals at Sikeston and plan to do so again next year. It's a cool track. Great people!!!

Thanks! We're heading to St. Louis to pick it up on Friday. Will post pics ASAP. I'm super excited to get it home!! I've ordered a Bell Tech 5/7 kit already and I'm compiling the list of other goodies that I probably can't live without.

Dually is home!! I'll start a build thread but for now here's a couple pics. I'm thrilled at how clean the truck is inside and out. You just never know when it's a Craig's list deal, especially when it's 6 hours away. Needs some work but I'm thrilled at what I got for a starting point. Just got it home last night and I already added a bumper deflector.
