Hey yall just checking in new to squarebody and dually trucks. Recently purchased a 79 sierra grande single cab dually. Going to be doing a lot of reading but want a static drop just dont know how low yet. Ive been a 67-72 guy until I sold my last 72 and bought the 79. Any input on my build would be great. Ill post pics of the truck later.

And here is the beast. Rust free multicolored big block 4 spd. I'm thinking doing a 6/8 and 19.5's but who knows. I've got a bunch of air stuff too and would just need air management.

Multicolor is fine rust sucks! I'll take multicolor any day.

Shortest tire you can get on a 19.5 is 32" tall, gonna be tough on a 6/8.

Suggestion: ready-made 19's from Eagle so you can run low-pros.

Kind of what I was thinking about 19's. I could always powder coat the stockers and add rings and caps? I think i am set on the 6/8.
