electric fan install

i gotta electric fan to put in on my 3.0 v6 ranger and what do i tap into to tell my fan to come on...like there are two sensors in my cooling area on the intake but one has one wire coming out and the other has two wires and i know i tap into one of them but which one is it...i know the rest of how to wire it with a bosch relay just wondering about the other part...thanks for any help

they dont come factory w/ electric fans.... so ull have to buy one of those thermostat things from the parts store and add it on there or put it on a relay and switch.

You can hook it to your ignition switch so it goes on and off automatically with the thermastat that you can buy at autozone. You must hook up a relay with it other wise when you shut off your truck while the fan is running it keeps your truck running for a few seconds.
