Im just after some info.

Is there any brake rotors that can fit straight onto a mazda spindle that will make it 5 stud and still use the stock mazda calipers.

Ive been comparing the stock mazda rotors to a brake catalogue for a match, but havent found anything yet.

Im in australia, so we dont have access to Chev parts etc, so I would need parts that are off your imported trucks, like yota pickup etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

I thought so...

thanks for your help.

Looks like it will have to be drilled.

the rotor on a mazda don't have anything to do with the lug pattern.

A friend of mine actually used the whole toyota spindle assembly and drilled out one of the spindle holes to fit the Mazda balljoint. He drives a truck, so I will call him when he gets up this evening and ask for sure which one had to drill out. Also I remember him saying something about having to use a fitting to convert the toyota brake line over to the mazda one. It sounds harder than it really was, but like I said, I will try to ask him tonight. If you havnet found out by tonight, IM me to remind me, haha!

When you pull the rotor off the stub axle / spindle the wheel studs come with it...

I want that whole assembly off another vehicle in 5 stud.

But now research from a catalogue and you guys it cant be done.

So I'll probably re-drill or look at a spindle swap.

if it's that mazda you are talking about in your profile, the rotors and hubs are separate.

when you pull that 'assembly' out, look on the back side and you should see 6 bolts. i forgot what they are, i think 14mm. these bolts will separate the HUB from the Disc-style rotor.

Yeah I know that...

Im just having trouble explaining it...

I wanted to ditch all the rotor / hub and replace it with another cars setup.

So basically keep the spindle, and use a different rotor / hub.

I think I'll just do the re-drill, lot less hassles

o i c. i think a close fit here are the Ford aerostar hubs. some have used them

what you could do is go to a local autoparts store and get the part number for the bearing the mazda uses. see if any other car/truck uses the same bearing and hope they have a 5lug disc/hub setup.

Greg, nothing works other then Drilling your HUBS to fit Five Lug or buying the Conversion from Canada, or use the Toyota front end. I've looked into this on several occasions. Devin "Mazberry" has used a ford aerostar hub for one of his friends B2200's but they cannot find out which one was used, it's been awhile. So go with one of the other options. We (all Mazda owners) have looked into this for a long time......If someone had the info, They would have given it up a long time ago. Good Luck!
