I got started sanding lots of the plastic pieces of my 99 tahoe but now have decided to sell it. the pieces i have worked on, i have completely removed the texture, primed, sealed and are ready for paint. my question is, is there a way to paint them and recreate that texture? maybe with a sponge or something. has anyone done this before. thanks in advance for any help

You can buy paint to match your interior but most of the time it takes some tinting to get it to match, as for the thee texture you could try a spray on chip gaurd it might get you close or just spray the pieces to match the outside color and sell it like that

mite be easier to just find someone who already has a stock interior but would take a custom one, and just trade out.

I do interior work a lot and SEM makes a sprayable texture coating. Part Number 39853

Works great..

Thanks for the tips and advice, but i decided to just spray them the stock color and call it a day. and for the rear door panels i got some from the salvage yard. so Andy if you are interested in the rear panels, I have the four pieces around the doors sanded completely smooth, primered and sealed and ready for paint. and have 1 1/2 of the door panels sanded smooth. for anyone who wants them they are free, just pay for the shipping.
