I am workin on re routing the gas filler hose on my 00 dakota. I was curious if anyone knew how to possibly bend a new hose. We are in the midst of shaving the door, and I just want to flip the hose backwards to fill it inside the bed but the hose doesnt seem to be too flexible. It also has the breather attached as well. How can I go about bending that backwards, shortening it, and or making a different hose? It seems to be too long and not flexible, are there special fittings or such on fuel hoses? Also is the hose comprised of a certain material inside? What are my options for fabbing something up that will serve the purpose, be safe as in approved hose/fittings/connection/clamps? Any adivce to this would be greatly appreciated.

hmm when i first bagged my dodge i left the tank in the stock location, and when i shaved the bed, the filler neck flexed right over into the bed. you could goto an autoparts place and find a radiator hose that would match what contour you need....

Doesnt petroleum eat the rad hose material? Thats what I've always heard.

DO NOT USE RADIATOR HOSE!!!! THE GAS WILL EAT IT FROM THE INSIDE OUT AND GET ALL KINDS OF SHIT IN YOUR GAS YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET TO YOUR MOTOR
