i have an 89 dime with juice.i want to buy some 18's for it,and the guy tells me I need a wheel with a front wheel drive offset.what offset do some of you guys have.I had a hell of a time buying wheels for this thing.

y do u need front wheel drive offset???? That makes zero sense, u definitely dont need that much offset!!!

You need like 0-15/20mm offset. FWD offsets are for the 4x4 S-10's and Blazers. LoL

thats just what the guy told me.I orderded some foose 18x8 and when i layed it down the damn fender was sittin on the tire.it looked like it needed to come in about an inch.

well, what was the offset on those wheels?? Were they 7, 8, 9 inches wide??

You will need a 0 offset wheel or close to it in order to tuck. Another key thing to tuck is backspacing. An 8" wide wheel needs 4.5 BS, 8.5" wide wheels need 4.75 BS, and 9" wide wheel need 5" BS (all of these wheels would have 0 offset)

yea my buddy has a body dropped 90s model on some 20s and i think he did the 20 mm offset and they work fine

and it wont tuck an 8 inch wide wheel?? Are they a standard offset wheel?
