directed comp x in a 91 dime reg cab

i want to build a box for 1 comp x 12 but i dont have the manual for this sub does any one know where i can find this info. and also if i invert the sub between the seats is it going to sound like sh** please let me know

It won't sound bad. Just make sure you build a pretty big box for it because if you don't you won't get a lot of lows out of the sub. If I had to guess I'd say you're going to need about 1.25cu/ft to 1.75cu/ft sub enclosure. Good luck.

Actually the comp x 12 was designed to work in a smaller enclosure. Anywhere between .5 and .8 cu/ft should sound good.

i have a comp x 12 in my trunk inverted in a .7 cuft sealed box. sounds good when the trunk in closed, but with it open it sounds like it's bottoming out. does this at low volume too. may just be due to the vent in the magnent, not sure.
