I found a guy selling a bunch of airbag stuff on craigslist including this EDC. How do I know if it is any good or the right one? It has the bracket to mount it to my S-10.

its a york 209 or 210, no way to tell if its any good though.

He says it worked when it came out of the truck, but I don't know if I can trust that.

209 or 210, you will have to fab up the brackets for it, but if it works than you will love it, when you get it you can turn the pully and put your finger over the dischange hole if it builds preasure, you should be good to go, if not you can always rebuild it, or trade it in on core, ask the people that run EDCS how they like them, I will never go back to 12v. just IM if you need help with it.

Thanks for the help, at least I know it isn't some Honda AC pump. I will check it when I get there and if it builds any pressure I will see what kind of price he wants. He just keeps saying... make me an offer.

i'd give him 50 bucks, they are 100+ tax new at napa + the clutch.

I cant tell from the picture, but if thats plastic airline coming off that comp you better get some stainless braided, there is alot of heat coming out those things. Plastic wont last long. I would have at least a 3 or 4ft piece of braided line, or something that will handle the heat.

Its either a 206 or a 209... no way its a 210 just based on the mounting bolt pattern.

i love mine 9 cfm at 3000 rpm's just check the oil regularly. its also quiet engine drowns out the edc

yea man its def a 206 mini york, these are about as fast as 2 viairs, there not that crazy with cfm. One thing i would recomend to you guys with yorks is a unloader check valve like the one i got its a 1/2" mpt/fpt load genie from msc direct. its the cats ass because as soon as my comp fills the tank and the ps shuts of it releases the pressure between my compressor and check valve which reduces the oil spit out. its just like most of your shop compressors have when they shut off once there full.
