I have 2 questions for you s-10 guys.My buddy is an import guy and is looking in to buy a S-10 Sigle or ext cab.

He would like to know how big of a wheel you can fit under the stock fender wells with the average Body dropped to the rocker of a 1998-2006 s-10.

Also is there any members that keeps the s-10's from laying frame?

Thanks for the helpFrameLayN88Isuzu

i'm not sure about the first question, i have a bagged 99 s10 with 225/40/18 tires that kept the truck from laying frame with no bodydrop. As for the 2nd question, he will need to raise his gas tank and replace the carrier bearing crossmember (both of these crossmembers available from suicidedoors.com), and the tranny crossmember keeps it from laying out. I've heard on the tranny member, unbolt the little triangle thing, drill the holes out a little, weld threaded studs to the crossmember and remount the tranny, but it dips a little on the driver's side too, so i don't know how that will work out.

OK he will lay out on 17's with 40 series tires if he dosent want to cut the fenders! I run 18's on 40 series tire and I had to do a lot of cutting on both the front inner fenders and rear fenders also the carrier bearing X-member will have to be replaced, tranny X-member, and your AC fan compressor on the passinger side will have to be either removed or raised. I kept my steel gas tank with out raising it just be careful not to drag through that bitch this is for extra cabs only to lay frame! Its not as easy as every one says it is a lot of work espically if you want your AC to work properly!
