ok my dad wants to lower his 87 1500 , wants maybe a 5-6 drop whats the best way to achieve this the right way !! i know roughly but im more of a car guy so i will ask someone who knows better ?? spindles,shocks,springs ??

i lowered mine using 3" drop spindles and 3" springs for the front and a flip kit for the back.

spindles up front,the only way to go...as far as the back I went with a drop kit...look at my profile the before pics,I lowered mine 3/5

I got all djm...had it for like 3 or 4 years now and never had any problems...and I got it from stylin concepts magazine...they have a website as well

I recommend Western Chasis for the flip kit....my dads truck is lowered 6/9 and it has never bottomed out even with a full tank (blazer tank in back) and three guys in it.

We used all BellTech stuff up front (3" spindles 3" springs) then the Western Chasis flip kit, & bell tech hangers and shackles in the rear.
