Door solenoids 97 chevy

I have never put in a set of door solenoids on a 97 chevy before, Where is the best place to put them, the window regulator is the scissor one. Any pictures or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would like it for the inside door handle to still work.Thanks in advance.

Nobody has a 1997 fullsize with shaved doors?

I have the solenoids and poppers for my truck but I haven't shaved the handles yet. I am going to mount mine inside the door panel right behind the vent in the door jam. If you remove the vent cover and the inner door panel you can get to it pretty easily. This way the solenoid will be pulling dirctly down on the lever.
