I know that there has been a ton of binding ball joint questions out there and I read through them in the forums page but couldn't find an answer. Kustomwerks (don't get me started )had claimed that they had the answer for the problem. It was some super nifty upper balljoint to cure all the woes of our lo-slung lifestyle. Did anyone actually get the brand or part number on that? Maybe I'll just give Eric a call on that one....yeah, right.

kevin- billy bob knows the number, I had it at one time, but have misplaced it. It's an autodrive part number, it supposivedly bolts right into the mazda upper ball joint location, but is at different angle/ allows more movement. I'll be checking this forum and previous ones until I find the number.....

Who carries that balljoint?

if you look up the part # on summit or partsamerica.com it shows a moog balljoint..... so you could prolly order it through advance auto parts.

i've got the s-10 uppers but i forgot if its the 5208 or 5108....it fits the spindle but not the control arm.

Does that autodrive balljoint fit the control arm and spindle or what needs to be changed for it to fit?
bdroppeddak   +1y
it kinda fits the spindle, but wont fit the control arm without mod.

do you need a balljoint reamer to make it fit the spindle better if you do what one do you need? what kind of mods to the control arm are needed?
