I got off a day at the shop today so i decided to work on the dually... in the shop. I mostly worked on the rearend. As we all know, the proportioning valve on the rear of the bbs trucks was a bad idea from the factory. I took it off, and replaced the brakeshoes, seals, bearings, cylinders, gasket, and fluid. Mind you this was the first time tearing into a 1ton rearend, so you could say i was suprised to start seeing axles and internals everywhere. I never thought a 6000lb truck could stop on a dime, but i do now. It makes me feel alot more comfortable haulin around my friends trucks now.
Tomorrow im gonna change the oil, filter, and put 4 new shocks on.

Thats funny ...I just put a new brake cylinder in my dually last weekend. I have to do the otherside now too (stupid rusted bleeder's) Then hopefully I can bleed the brakes and get them working 100%
