Ok I put a new head on my truck and its all back together now but it won't start. I'm almost positive its the timing but I don't know what I did wrong. The timing mark the the crank is facing up. The little circle next to the 1 on the cam pulley is aligned with the timing mark on the head. Now when I try to start it I don't get anything it just keeps on turning over. What could it be?

make sure the crank woodruff key isnt broken and givin you false readings.. it has happened to many mazdas, and is a pain in the butt.. youll never notice it until your doin what your doin

lol, yea that is a classic problem on the B-series.

To help avoid having that problem make sure the big 21mm bolt in the middle of the harmonic balancer is torqued down real good (like with an impact wrench.) It does not hold the crank pulley on, it actually holds the lower timing gear but the crank pulley is bolted to the timing gear so if the big bolt is loose it will cause a big problem.

Check the spark. Theres a green wire i think that needs to be on the coil...Mine was that problem..
