ok, heres the scoop. I have a 91 civic hatchback and my hood latch was missing in action when transporting the car and my hood flew up while driving down the road and smashed into the windshield. The hood bent in the middle from flipping back up. when i go to shut my hood its a few inches from shutting completely and i know that is due to the bend so ima beat the mess outta it until it shuts but my main problem is that the hood is not aligned anymore it is shifted to the left about 1/2-3/4" to where the left side (passenger side) is barely sitting on the fender, so there is a big gap on the driver side and then no gap on passenger side of the hood. So my question is what do i need to do to align it back straight? is it the hinges or what. Let me know asap. i will try to post pics asap.

Ur current hood is not salvagable after flying up and slapping windhield first thing u need to do is purchase a new hood............. Then u can worry about flipping it forward and whatnot
