Ok, i keep hearing to not do reverse 4 links but nobody has said why. They just said that it's junk. Why is it "junk"??

it doesnt apply the torque from the rear end (either on acceleration or braking) to the vehicle to add downforce to the wheels to aid in traction. it will normally cause the rear end to loose traction by lifting the weight of the vehicle off the suspension.

it also articulates away from the drive shaft instead of with the driveshaft. With enough lift it will pull the driveshaft out of the transmission. there should never be any bars going backward.

its not a smart thing to do if you're actually gonna drive the truck and have a lot of travel in the suspension, just relocate the shit that was in the way in the first place and do it right

depends on how its built. not any backyard guy with a welder can do a reverse link. i have done my share of forward and reverse links. yes there are some cons to a reverse the main one is the transfer of power to the wheels and back. the rest of the cons to a reverse link are builder error i have built a few reverse links and all of them have never had a wheel hop problem or braking problem or a lift problem or drive shaft problem. you get the idea. once again this thread is going to go on forever about why a reverse sucks. if you dont know what your doing youll never make a reverse link work right

if you have a minitruck with a tiny 4cyl motor, and dont ever drive your truck hard, you'll prolly never notice a big difference forward or reverse. me on the other hand, when i hook the trailer up to my fullsize, i dont want to crash if i have to lock up doin 50+ mph with 4500 lbs behind me. or if im shiftin gears i want all the locking power my suspension can give my tires.

Ive done several and never had a problem w/ any of them as well. All depends on how the truck is gonna be driven/used and if the installer knows what they are doing or not. Just to note....my truck has over 105,000 miles on it and is driven/dragged daily. NO TRAILER QUEENS HERE! Ive done all 4 bars fwd, 2 fwd 2 rev and all 4 reverse...and not had the 1st problem out of any of them and they were were all daily drivers.
