Badass hot rod custom shop in South Carolina

While in South Carolina for Southeast Showdown, Chicken was nice enough to introduce us to a guy who owned a shop up there. His name is Greg Porter of Porters Custom Shop. Nothing but classic clean hot rods, rat rods, and antiques. Built all by him. His own fabrication shop and paint shop as well. there really is no way to explain this place. Here are photos (over 200)that I took. The things he had sitting around his back and front yard was amazing in itself. Then you walk inside to his museum of work.

Also notice the pot bellied pig that came out of nowhere...they don't have dogs walking around in there backyards in South Cackalackee....they have damn piGs!!

I'm so mad I missed this trip. I was hoping someone would give me a call so I could head down too. Oh well...hope it'll be there next time I'm down that way.

I'm sure it will be there. Chicken is real good friends with the guy. I'm sure anytime you're around let chicken know and he'll make it happen. It's too good not to see it.

Thats pretty funny that he has a corvair van, ive got like 4 of them sitting behind my shop, and would never think about putting any effort into fixing them. Looks like fun though, wish i woulda been able to make it up to the show.
