ok here is my problem. ive got cans on my accord, runnin 3/8 smc valves and lines. all my valves are mounted on the tank. i know that my front right cylinder leaks(from where i dont know) the problem is that over night my tank will drain out, ive checked for leaks all over with soapy h2o and cant find a leak anywhere. the only thing i can think of is my front right cylinder....but the valves should nt allow that to happen. any ideas..

if your tank is leaking its not your cylinder.

well the tank is empty the next morning.....not sure why though. in theory if all my valves are mounted to the tank then even with a busted line or cylinder the tank shouldnt empty out

Correct me if I'm wrong but most valves will dump if there isn't against them. I don't know it's late.

I meant to say if there isn't pressure against them.

yea they will dump but that isnt the issue, the issue he has is that his tank is empty not his cylinder, if his cylinder had no air but the tank was full then it would be relivant.

no.. if his right cylinder is leaking around a seal.. it will leak out and then there will be no backpressure on the valve to keep it closed, there for, it will creep open and leak air out of the tank, out of the cylinder.. meaning the cylinder and tank will go dry.

if he has 3 way valves, like shaim's.. then his tank is leaking somewhere at a fitting.

i didnt think about that

I had a problum with my tank leaking really bad and for the longest time I just could not figure out where it was leaking. finally i found the leak. it was my check valve. you should have one right at your compressor. mine for some reason was not working and slowly leaked out all my air. so you wight want to check it. you wont be able to see if its leaking with the soapy water test because it leaks back into the compressor.
