2600i Exhaust

Anybody have any suggestions about how to get my exhaust done? Does anybody know where to get the 2600i headers I saw on ebay?Im sure I saw one for a 90-93 2600i. Any help would be appreciated.

If you take it to a shop, make them build it above the bottom of the frame. Get 2 1/4" exhaust. Sounds good, more power than stock. Magnaflow mufflers sound pretty good on minis. Makes them a little deeper.

I had a flowmaster on my sonoma... mmmm i miss the sound of it.

Im sportin no exhaust at all on my b2200 right now... good times.

I dont like the way Flows sound on import trucks. Or at least mine. I slid my friends Classic 4 on the end of my exhaust before he put it on his Blazer, and it sounded like crap to me. So I bought a Magnaflow and put it on, and I liked it a lot better. I thought it sounded badass. The Flowmaster just sounded weird. But could be the difference in motors.

i just really liked my flowmaster on the sonoma... i've got no idea what exhaust sounds like on the mazda... haha.

flows resonante inside the cab like crazy. i have one on my dime and hate it. have a magnaflow on the pup and its fuggin awesome. loud, very little resonation, and not farty, real deep.

ill only put a magnaflow on anything i own. its worth the money for sure

I swear by Magnaflow since I got mine. Flows sound good on V8s, but so do Magnaflows. Lol.

What do I need to ask for when a shop bends it? The stuff I have on now sux, its the kind that rusts out in like 2 weeks. What is the thicker tubing?

Get 16 guage tubing. Thats pretty common. You don't want too thick for your exhaust. And when you get home you can pull it out and slap some high heat paint on it.

alrighty, thank you much for the help. The paint thing sounds good, any brand specific/use paint I should use?
