after dedicating my entire sunday trying to learn about edc, because im to cheap to buy the kit, i have tons of knowledge about this whole deal, so i figuired i should share it all with everyone else...it basically comes down to if u want to spend the time to save the money, or just spend the money and not waste your time. Heres how it goes is a york is pretty much ready to go out of a car, just change the oil of course, but u can also buy them new at autozone for around 150 i was hearing. other than getting the compressor everything else is pretty simple throw a intake on it, vent the crankcase, fab a bracket if u want to save some money, and run lines. now if i could have found this web site in the first place it would have saved me all the time surfing the net, but here it is for everyone else http://www.bagginit.com/york_page_1 i did notice tho that none of the pictures work but the info is all there and is very helpful

I pieced together the kit in my old fullsize. I used a york E210R and the brackets from onboardair.com. I think I had 3 or 4 hundred in the whole setup. I never really checked the oil, just put some in every once in a while, 30wt non detergent is what I ran. I also used a toggle switch instead of a pressure switch, so I could run it up to a high pressure if I needed, or keep it low when I didn't

my bro traded a box for 2 12's for a 210,and i built the bracket,so only cost like $90..it is on a 93 FSC,he uses a toggle switch also, usually runs it about 210-220 PSI and put 30w in it everyonce in a while
