Problems with Slam bags?

Has anyone had issues with their RE-6 Slam bags delaminating around the top edge? I have had two do it on different trucks in the last couple of months. Just want to see if its a one off bad batch or if its a common problem? Cheers

the rubber will crack and flake, but Slam Specialties has said that it does no structual harm to the bag.

supposedly this was with the ooolder bags, the evolution series arent supposed to do that, i have yet to see any....

Cant say that i have seen that on the new style bags...

Yeah i know about the small cracks that you get sometimes but thats not the problem. The top edge of the rubber is peeling away from the alloy top plate and these are the new RE-6 series bags not the old RS-62 bags.
The first one did it about 2 months ago from a batch we had ordered through FBI and i was told by SS that it was a one off and they hadnt had that problem before, now another one has done it so im thinking its not a one off problem. Just curious to see if anyone else has had the same issue or is it just us?

i have the new RE-7's on my truck.. i've been under it lately, just double checking things and havent see this problem on mine.. so i'm not sure what to tell ya man.. sorry

All our RE-7s are sweet. Its just been the RE-6's. It seems like the glue that glues the outter rubber layer is weak so im hoping it was just a bad batch. They probably will work fine but when you inflate them the gap is so big you can fit a finger between the rubber and alloy plate and it looks dodgy. We just had a new pallet of bags arrive so im keeping fingers crossed its not a reoccurring deal.

yeah they are bad about it i went through 8 on my truck

i seen a few do them but its been a long time, i like there new bags better then the old ones.
