New BodyStyle Front Clip on 88-98 F/S Question

I will be starting on my 05 GMC front clip conversion on my 97 1 ton and I am looking for some heads up on it. I plan on running the stock 88-98 fender from the top body line down since I have seen a couple done that way and like it the best. Has anyone on here done it this way to point me in the right direction on the best places to section it in and whether I will use the entire 05 core support or section it with the 98, etc. Any pics or links to pics of some that are done or in the process would be greatly appreciated.......

There was a silver extended cab with no motor or hood at Scrapin the Coast06 that had an 05 GMC front clip partially done....does anyone have pics of this truck b/c it was done the way I want to do mine

im bout to start on mine( when i get around to workin on my own shit agian)... but everything i looked at so far im just gonna use the frt sections out of the newer style fenders and just cut the stock(88-9 coresupport and make mounting tabs for the headlight panels.... there are a couple trucks that have the whole fenders on there and they look way out of proportion IMO they are too long from teh fenderwell foward.... the way im gonna do it wont make the truck any longer.... at least thats the plan
