stock floor c10

I want to stock floor my 84 c10. I have it bagged already and lays frame with a 3" Z. i see alot of guys who weld box tubing inside there stock frame. then cut/reweld the cab mounts back on. cant i just cut the bottom part of the cab mount off, move them down until the rockers lay then box in the frame where the cab mounts are?

you can do what I did just take your cab mounts off and hard mount it to the frame and channel out the cab for the fram and you will lay pinch weld this way.

ide rather do that instead of cutting off the original frame and welding in box tubing as a section. draggin22's do you have any pics of your setup.
