some people weld the upper brackets straight out off the frame, so when the lower control arm is jacked up, the top brackets straight, the lower is angled.. so this piece can be welded on to make the lower circle plate parallel with the upper bracket.

i personally used to order those kits w/o that to save $ and shipping costs.. but really, they make great drag plates lol.

Check this out for some pics if you need any,

those show the way I, and I'm sure others do it without those massive bars.. angle the upper bracket to match the lower control arm when laid out and trim gussets to work.

you dont HAVE to use them or the circle plates. you could just drill a hole in the lower arm if you wanted to.

i was just going 2 use them as drag blocks 2! didnt think u needed them, because no one elses kit comes with them.

the great thing about using that style lower bracket is it raises the front of the bag off the balljoint bolts on imports.

do u need 2 keep those front stabilizer bars. the ones that mount one the bottom of the control arms and 2 the front of the frame under the bumper? or can u take them off?

gotta have those, but you could relocate them to the rear of the LCA.. or the more expensive way, tube lowers.
