To be honest, from what it sounds like, you already have to replace most of the frame anyhow. I would get the frame measurements for a mazda and go to town on a stock floor. I know its more work for someone with little experience, but if you are going to have to do that much, it would be better in the long run. But, you could just do the frame work and then do a traditional bodydrop which would require less engineering. I bodydropped mine 3 inches and really didnt have any problems with mine. I was able to keep my heater, but just opted to remove it. Im not sure about all that with a 4 inch though. I think maybe Blitch did a 4" drop. For added research, try mazdabscene.com.
