Whats up everyone!?! newbie here.. so i was wondering i have the mazda the shop and the tools... just not the know how... i want to body drop my B around 4".. just want to hear some issues and problems everyone has had while doing theirs. Is it better to bag it first then do it? I already have to box my frame from around the firewall back its rusty as f**k. so would it be the easiest to finish the frame hack the floor out then set the cab on top of the frame and build a new floor from there? or just stock floor body drop... keeping in mind my stock floor is sh*ty and has some cancer holes in it... and im pretty sure i got the front down.. just cut the frame and re weld keeping in mind measure measure measure. and the box im not to worried about it seems easy enough.. but any input is great... and im glad 2 B part of street source!

To be honest, from what it sounds like, you already have to replace most of the frame anyhow. I would get the frame measurements for a mazda and go to town on a stock floor. I know its more work for someone with little experience, but if you are going to have to do that much, it would be better in the long run. But, you could just do the frame work and then do a traditional bodydrop which would require less engineering. I bodydropped mine 3 inches and really didnt have any problems with mine. I was able to keep my heater, but just opted to remove it. Im not sure about all that with a 4 inch though. I think maybe Blitch did a 4" drop. For added research, try mazdabscene.com. There is usually some good info there if you are having trouble finding it here to avoid having to ask again.
