extra 22re block

well i finally decided to tear down my motor that died on me about 2 yrs ago to find out what was wrong with it. come to find out it had thrown a rod. well being its an extra just laying around in my garage i basically stripped the good stuff off it.. cylinder head. oilpan(gonna use to section and lower my other motor) head cover.(gonna have powdercoated) and the tranny/clutch question is i was planning on just taking the blcok to work and dumpin it in the dumpster but is there somewhere that might buy it from me? to possibly use as a core? i dont need the block so even if i didnt much for it. but do places buy used blocks from people?

yeah thats a good one. i have a 22r and 22re complete with wiring and tranny i need to get rid off.

Call around and see if there are any remanufacturers in your area and if they are buying cores.

At least take it to the salvage/scrap yard and not in the dumpster. You could still get a few bucks for it for scrap.
