I have a 1989 Mazda B2200 and My negative Terminal is getting really hot and wont start turns over really slow but wont crank and has a brand new battery that is fully charged can anyone help meout on this situation because I have to get this truck back on the road now.. It is my only vehicle and I have already missed one day of work I cant miss another any help will be great..Thanks in advance

REPLACE THE CABLE.. AND MAKE SURE ALL CONNECTIONS ARE TIGHT AT THE BATTERY AND THE STARTER AND GROUNDGET A VOLT METER AND CHECK VOLTAGE AT BATTERY AND STARTER TO SEE IF ITS FLOWIN THROUGH THE CABLE FREELY

SHOULD HAVE SAME VOLTAGE AT STARTER AND BATTERY TERMINAL WHEN TRUCK IS OFF

bad connection (ground) to the engine, or a bad starter.

You have a connection on wrong..Check all grounds from block to frame, cab to block etc...

should have posted sooner but havent had a chance.... The starter was fried but I got the new one in and its runnin great,Even Cranks over alot faster then it used too... thanks for the help
