layin a ranger

what is the best way to make a 86 ranger lay all the way down.the d-shaft will hit the cab and tank x-member. can you put a 2 piece driveshaft in it? any comments or pic's. would be great.

cut the cab and cut the x member under the cab in half and cut the gas tank one and make it so the drive shaft dont hit. best way is build a new frame w/ yota front suspension and STBD it while your at it ibeams.

thats affirmative james.... get ridda the ibeams as soon as you can.... as far as the crossmembers.. youll have to cut em out and fab new ones...
