I have airride suspension & i just bought the car, & the drivers side rear wheel is slowly losing air as i go down the road. The place that did the suspension told me to put soapy water on the lines, i guess, but i have never seen the underneath, nor have i ever looked or dealt with air ride before. Anyone out there know how this should be done???

he's right. just put some soapy water in a squirt bottle and spray all your connections with it. of coarse if u spray a fitting for example and it bubbles up then youve found your leak. but its not that simple. it can be a bitch sometimes finding leaks. id start at the rear wheel and work my way back! if u dont find it some where around the rear wheel like i said spray EVERY connection on the car. if u dont find the leak it could be a valve sticking or a couple of other things but try the soap bubbles first.

Russell Crase (fatboysS1O) is right...but if the shop put it in, then they should stand behind their work.

does the car leak down when just sitting?

reason being if it does not leak while sitting, you need check vavles.

i always drop the rear when i get out so i dont know if it leaks just sitting, i have dakota guages so i will check into that tonight.

stupid question...im allowed, so when i get my soapy water ready, would u advise to get the car jacked up on car jacks first, i need advise on that as well. Im not mechanically inclined so safety is first for me!!!

u could air the car up when u go to bed tonight and let it sit up over night then check it in the morning! kinda pinpoint the corner of the car that is leaking. u say its the back left, but that way u can double check and see if u have leaks anywhere else that are real small that u might not otherwise see unless u leave the car aired up for an extended period of time!

ok i completely raised my ride & my guages are tellin me that all tires are at 62, except for the one that i am havin probs with, it deflated in a matter of 30 seconds, but i will lift it all night just to make sure there isnt any other leaks anywhere else....
