Im going to bag the front of my truck within the next two days, the only concern I have thats bothering me is the front stabilizer bar under the lower control arm. My question is is it bound to get in the way, and how can I get around that or do to fix it.

are you talking about the sway bar?

the only prob is that it will come in contact with the nut on the pitman arm.

what ive done on one that ive worked on is use a piece of roundbar of similar size and weld it to the side of the bar and cut out where it would contact the nut. if i had a pic it would be easier, but thats all i got.

good luck

ours is 1/4" from laying out in the front on 17's. Whenever we get our drop spindles in it should take care of it

When you start please let me know b/c I would love to have a set. My truck is damn near drivable again and i'm going to need some arms for it b/c I did away with the bars and have been looking for a set.

just turn your wheel to the right when you lay it out

if your bagging your truck you have to get rid of the sway bar the strut rods arent in the way of anything you will have to buy drop spindels and you will need to get a 17 inch wheel because with stock 14 inch wheels the rim binds on the strut rod were it bolts to the bottom of the control arm
