Isuzu Pickup Smog Pump

Has anyone ever tried to make there smog pump an onboard compressor?

I took out all of my air cleaner piping and box filter and replaced it with a cone filter.(I did this mod so I could cut my fender wells out.) I unhooked all of my smog pump hoses to find that it pumps a ton of Air.

Has anyone ever tried to use the smog pump as an onboard compressor?

After further thinking of doing this.....there no way to turn off the smog pump. I dont think this is a good idea.....

the smog pump ony put out like at the most like 25psi
