ok i've seen this in other places...what the hell does bump mean? anyways...are your bags on the axle? mine are on the axle and it rides kinda shitty no matter what height you're at. i'm gonna be puttin mine on the bars as soon i get some money and the tools to do it.

Bump is just a useless post that brings the thread to the top of the page.

ive been told over the axle setups ride worse than bags mounted on link bars. i dont know yet,but im in the middle of switching from over the axle to bags on the bars right now. and u say your using contitech bags, maybe try some slam bags, the conti's give a little bit more than the slams.ur saying ur truck rides like ass, maybe cuz the conti's bounce like a bitch over the axle. the slams give a stiffer ride to me. i know there is a lot more ways to solve this prob but thats all i know personally to tell u.

Here are a couple that I've set up, both ride great. If you're gonna run an over the axle setup, the only way for it NOT to ride like a dump truck when aired up is to run a sleeve typ bag. They've gota more progressive spring rate and ligher load capaicity than a double convelouted bag, and will offer a much nicer ride in a 1:1 setup.

shocks can play a role too, the two set ups ^^ , not to hate, but the shocks are pretty much doing nothing for those rides.

no..they dont do shit when they're laid out

The type of shock also plays a HUGE roll, not just the position. The black mazda is running factory replacement type shocks, and when it airs up, the shock is in dead mid stroke and dampens quite nicely. The grey one, I used a set of ProComp ES9000's. It's a twin tube 10 stage shock and is about the stiffest damn thing I've ever used...took 2 of us to install them. That's the only reason they do anything at such a sever angle, while only using a small amount of their available stroke. I am actually going to raise the shock mount up a bit in the back to get them to be a bit more effective.

Dont forget too, that factory shocks arent straight up and down either....

thnaks alot guys, but im running the bags on the bars, ans im running real good shocks, its like this thing rides rough, and it feels like the axle is moving from side to side, but its not ive thought about running the slams, ive got em up front and i love them, if anyone has anymore ideas throw em at me
thanks
