I noticed alot of you guys have tubing benders for frame work, what kind of tubing bender do you use? and what's the thickest wall tube it will bend?

Ours is an RMD brand it will bend up to 5" pipe w/ the proper die and it will bend 1" solid tube pretty good.

I have just one of the 200 $ ones from a tool sale. it bends up to 3" with the dies it came with but will not do exhaust. I haven't done anything bigger than like 2" 3/16 wall on it. Works good for me, but I don't do alot either.

i have this one and is does decent.... kinda flatspots it at times. and its hard to get acurate bends if you are tryin to get thing symetrical.

my friend has one of these and its fucking bad.... make perfect bends and has a dial on it so you can find out exaclty what you are bending to. its HELLA expensive though, but you deffinately get what you pay for.(about 1200 bucks if you get the stand/ dies/ and handle) and you can add a hyd pump for around another 500(i think) to make it easier and more acurate.

Ours is hand built, everything but the hydraulic pump and dies. Itll bend 2'' 1/4 wall pretty good.

Do any you have any problems with your bender leaving die prints in the tubing?

Sometimes, but its usually when theres a piece of metal shaving or something in the die.

I watched a video on an RMD bender I wish I could afford to get one now lol, are any of you guys able to bed 1.5" DOM 3/16-1/4 wall? Or what is the biggest wall and diameter tubing you have been able to bend with the smaller benders

Mine will kick some DOM ass. I have bent the Suicide Doors 4link bars with no problrms at all, and they are 1.5" DOM 1/4" wall. I've also bent alot of .095 4130 tubing, and it has no problems
