F/S OBS Chevy on DUBS

I thought i'd get yalls opinion on tire size for 20" wheels on a 88+ Fullsize Box chevy. I have heard 245/35/20 is the way to go!?!? Oh, and if someone has the #s for the best offset on 8.5s or 9.5s That would be a huge help. I just don't trust some of these tire shop guys that have never encountered anything but SUVs on 24s

Heres my set up:

Front: 20x8.5 with 5 3/4" backspacing & 245/35/20

Rear: 20x10 6" backspacing & 275/35/20

I used 255/30 on my fullsize, also the size i have on the rear of the s10
