is it spot welded in?

yeah like a billion spot welds. it pissed me off cuz i went over to my friend steves house and his s-10's entire front end just unbolted. ive been thinking just cutting every thing out all the way up to the fire wall bolting the core support up and then running some tube from the fire wall to the core support with mounts for the fuse box and fenders.

why are you replacing it with one from fbi? whats gonna be different?

i rear ended a civic
and bent the core support in on the drivers side and bent up the wheel well on the driver side too. no damage to the frame its just that it pushed the radiator in and caused the hose to get cut by one of the belts. everything else that got screwed up was getting replaced by the rodeo front end swap i ordered so i dont care about the rest of the shit

Anthony,

I swapped my core support. It has 2 bolts on the front of the frame that bolt down the core support. This has body mount bushing as well. The inner fenders are weld all the way across the bottoms of the fenders. You have to cut them out. I used a grinder then cleaned it up after I removerd the old one. You also have 2 spot welds under the front of the front fenders at the top of you core support.

Cut all of this crap and your support will be out. All wiring runs under your raditor to your fuse box on the left. Its weird but thats the way it is......Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
