Alright so I'm wanting to spray my truck with some blitz black, and I've heard it recommended that it be sprayed with a 1.4 or 1.5 mm nozzle on an HVLP gun. I've got a 2mm gun with can on the bottom that I use to spray curbs and stuff with really thick oil-based paint...what will the bigger nozzle do? Should I just turn down the paint ratio? Will it just give me more overspray, or will this actually end up being a problem??? (The paint doesn't have to be perfect, some of the body is dented up, but I would like it to look good where it can)

the bigger nozzle will soak it because it shoots out more paint with that big of a hole when i paint i use a 1.2 tip and it works great i never use anything bigger then a 1.3 which usually i use that size for the clear coat. i spray base at 8 - 10 lbs of pressure with 1.2 and a clear coat with a 1.3 with about 18 - 20 lbs of pressure and it comes out smooth as glass it just depends on if you know what your doing and how to control your gun. also using a good gun helps to.
