I really like how you did that. Probably will still be close to stock oil capacity. I might have to redo mine like that when I rebuild my motor.

how thick of metal did you use? looks like some pretty serious weld beads goin on.

love the work on the oil pan. i need to have about an 1 1/2" taken out of mine. how much did you take out of yours?

It looks like about an inch on his. I took about an inch out of mine.And it looks ot be down to about the same. I really like the side piece though. I'm definitely redoing mine when I rebuild the motor.

i pretty much did the same as blazedbowties except instead of just cutting off the bottome hump. i went ahead and cut it all the way to the front and just made a whole new bottom.. mainly for looks and i thought it would be easier. then just went out the side 1.5 " and up 2" for the kickout. used 1/8" thick metal. yeah the welds are a little big. but i was doing it in a hurry at work trying to get it done before someone would see me. and because it was my last day working there.
