Not getting enough lift

Whats up guys I just got done baggin a 48 Fird for a guy,it has a transam front clip well we used full size chevy cups for the front and the car lays out hard ass hell but it doesn't get shit for lift any suggestions on what to do? I put slam re 6 1/2 single port bags.

how much lift are you getting?

when you are laid out, tap the switch very quickly to barely put any air into the system and lookat your gauge as to how much air you have before the truck moves.

also, could be a possibility your cups are too small, so you've got a lot of wasted room before the truck moves

are the cups too short? That would make the bag not squish all the way at full drop, and keep it from lifting...

What I mean is, an RS6 should squish to 3 inches tall, and then will lift about 7 inches. With the geometry of the front end that should give you about 10 inches of lift. If the cups are too short though, the frame will bottom out before the bag does, say at 6.5 inches. So you limit the lift to about 3 inches, with geometry about 4.5 inches.

Are you using enough pressure? If the front end weighs a ton with a big V8 and all that heavy steel you'll need at least 150 psi to get up.

Yea we are usig enough air i have shraders on it right now to pick it up to move in and out of the shop,so im using my big compressor. also there is some wasted roon in side the control arm, so we made a little platform for the bag cup to sit on to make it a tighter fit,this gave us more lift but now it doesn't lay out?

how much of a spacer did you use? how far are you from laying out? what is keeping you from laying out? it is probably the lca's and/or tie rods.. if it is notch the frame for them, unless you can find a lowering spindle for that clip.

are you able to lock out the suspension when raised up? for that check the UCA's and see if they are hitting the frame.. do you have all the bump stops removed? a lot of vehicles come with them under the UCA.. you might be hitting that.

could be you need to step up to re7s 0r 8s. it depends on the weight of the vehicle. i have a suburban that weighs 7500 lbs we tried 6s first so we had to do less cutting but at 120psi my truck wouldnt even come off of the ground. i have sevens now and it works pretty good. but i am eventually going to change them out to 8s. think about it its like a tire the bigger the tire the less pressure it takes t air it up the smaller takes more.if you or anybody happens to need res we have all of them on sale till the end of the month for $65. just trying to help out.

what kind of ford did u bag 48 custom or a truck

Yea this one lays hard as hell an its all stock even the spindles. so you guys think I should run a bigger bag in the front?
