help cutting roof for rag top

i'm getting ready to buy a rag top for my ext cab sonoma and was wondering what you guys used to cut your roofs ?

I have a saws-all, air shears and a cut off wheel,,, do you think the cut off wheel will do the job or should i get some nibblers ?

Whats the biggest rag top i can put on a 98 ect sonoma ? (i asked this question about two years ago and wrote down the info but lost it )

you can use a cut off wheel --- i wouldnt recommend the sawzall since the vibration could possibly warp your sheetmetal --- i use to have a 24 x 42 in a standard cab ranger -- hope i was somewhat of a help !!!!

and with looking at tims pic, i think a cut off wheel will work just fine!

We used a cutoff wheel to start holes for the sawzall. It was the only thing that would cut through the sound deadening material in the roof.

i almost hate to use my sawzall or the shears , did you warp anything with the cut off wheel?(heat)
Has anyone tried to use nibblers?

A couple years ago it seemed like everyone liked the street beat tops ,, is that still true or is there something better out now ?

AS FAST AS THE CUT OFF WHEEL IS THERE IS NOT THAT MUCH HEAT PRODUCED --- IT WORKED FOR ME AND A BUDDY OF MINES RANGER AS WELL --- BUT TO EACH IS OWN --- THIS IS JUST MY 2 CENTS !!!!

when i put mine in we used a jigg saw workede great just make sure you meaure

Use one of these with a bigger blade.
