Something must be wrong with my air cylinders, I an raise my car up most all the way and when i hit the dump air releases but it wont drop, I keep hitting the switch to let air out and air keeps dumping and im still up and then when almost all the air is out, the car drops all at once. I don't know why its doing this. Any ideas? I have check valves off my tank could this be it?

thanks

Is this problem at all four corners, or just the front? If it's the front, what kind/ brand of cylinders are you using? Give us a little more info, and we can probably help!

It sounds like they're binding on you. Do you have bushings on the top mount to allow for flex? Does the bottom mount allow for movement, too?
Also, do the cylinders move up and down by hand when no air is connected to them? If the shafts are bent (mine is bent a little to the left) it will put everything in a bind. It may not be enough resistance to keep the car from lifting, but it's possibly enough to hold the car up, since nothing makes it drop but the weight of your Maxima. Good luck!
