Are you feeling the crunch? Let's see were your project is, and what is left to do before SEMA 2006. I know I am pulling my hair out.

You gonna make it bro? Let's see some fresh update pics of that bad boy! I'm waiting to hear if we're getting Carlos Mencia's Impala Chopper for our booth (it sports VIAIR pumps)... Last I heard it was a go... but not 100% yet. Wish we had more booth space!

is being in a vendor booth the only way to be in the show? and if so, how the hell do I get in a vendor booth??

there are lots of ways to get a car into SEMA. You don't have to be in a booth, but you do need a vendor sponsor. It's fun and is a great way to hook up additional sponsorships to help you build your ride...but I am not sure it is worth all of the money and work that goes into it. This is the last year I am taking a car.

sponsorships would be cool, but whatever I end up building next is going to be in that league, so mostly I just want to be in what I consider the highest end show there is... Do you guys get sponsored or connected before you start a build? or is it mostly done when things fall in place or what?

FYI - Usually the first build is all on you. Once you've been to SEMA with a ride and have the blessing of pretty much any company to get you in, you can then make the connections needed to build other future vehicles. All you need are companies that like your work and want to see their products on your vehicle, or on a future vehicle. Its not unheard of for Automakers to find builders this way. Its the best way for fresh new ideas to be seen at SEMA.

Cool, that's really what I needed to know, don't even really think I'll do it more than once, it's just on the before I die to do list to try and get in once....
