I know it is not dually related but I figured I would ask here because you guys seem to no more than anyone on these trucks. I have not worked on one personally yet. I have a customer with the above truck and wants to buy what is needed to lay frame. Does it need a "Z"? What else is needed? Spindles? He wants to build a 4 link for the rear which is easier on these parallel or triangulated? Any other suggestions? Thanks for the info

What size wheel is he going with?

in order for it to lay flat, the frame has to be Z'd or the front crossmember needs to be notched and raised. Spindles are also needed. As far as the 4 link, it can be done either way. 2 links are most commonly used on this bodystyle. The frames are rather narrow. These trucks love 22"s, its easy to lay them out.

Any 2600# size bag will work. Ive got Firestones on DragNasty and Contitechs on the dually.
