How hot is the b2200 supposed to run?

Ok I got the timing right,vavles etc... How hot is it supposed to run? I put the thermo back in...

depends on where your sensor is placed and the temp. of your thermostat.

if you have it placed right after/before the thermostat housing, then it should read around what the temp setting of the thermostat is. if you have it anywhere else, it might be different. I.E. if you have it placed on the lower part of the radiator where it feeds back into the engine, then by the time the coolant flows down from the return, it'll be slightly cooler

but the factory mazda thermostat is supposed to be 192degrees

oh and if you're going by the gage in the truck, just make sure it does not go above half
