2.0 ranger problems,help!!!!

my 2.0 took a crap on me. long story short, the carb started leaking and now i can't keep it running. in a last ditch effort,I tryed to adjust the timing and when you adjust it + or - it doesn't change the idle at all.it won't idle right and now it won't even crank and stay running. any comments would be great. a new motor would also be good if in n. fl. and s. ga. thanks

your motor sounds like its not the problem, fixing yoru carb is your problem.

the 2.0 is an awesome motor, it can and will make lots of power, for little money.

dito, sounds like a carb problem. is it a 1 barrel or 2?

it's a 1 barrel.w/electric choke.i got a rebuild but was debating on doing it.aggrivated more than anything.
