Hey guys well i decided its time to get motivated with my pup. was under the hood today and man what a cluster fuck... When I bought the truck it was bagged and the plumbing was done waaaay half asses. So i am going to be re mounting all the valves and replumbing all the lines. Also i want it to lay out so im gettin the trusty sawzall out and slicing out my inner fenders. But there is soooo much stupid crap on the passenger side inner fender i dont know what to do with it all. Is all that vacuum crap necesarry? What do you guys do to clean up under there for removing your inner fenders? Oh yeah it has the 2.3 carbed engine it is a 91 pupthanx alot Joe
hey joe, im not a pup person, but i know with the mazdas and toyotas, you can buy the weber carb replacment, or the single or dual side drafts, and get rid of all the vacuum stuff. it will make more power, and look alot better..
i am wating untail i finish mt 4" b/d before i spend the money for a webber i want one so bad but it is like 300 cash and i am with this chick that is trying to bank rupt me for "our" house that i pay for
Ok where do i look to get what i need for one of these carb swaps if getting rid of the air pump and doing a weber swap is the trick to clean i will find the cash and tires will just have to wait... I just want this thing up and running so i can cruise to my last show of the year and i cant be sittin high all becuz of fenderwells... thanx for the info guys anymore wiould be great

P.S. will this eliminate all of those vacumm lines and stupid selonoids?
in the back of every minitruckin since about the late 80's (i think) is an add for FAST FREDDY'S give them a call and they can hook you up.. they are in so cal if im not mistaken.
id look for you, but my mags get passed around the other soldiers, and i can never find them again..
cut the wires and then unplug the light in the dash and then u will need to trash all the hoses the new carb only has 1 or 2 ports on it one goes to the distrobuter and the other goes to the welkl i dont know i got my friends plugged
Does anyone know if you can do that with a 2.3 ford motor??? Sorry not tryin to jack the thread but I have been wandering the same thing but with a diff. motor?
