Looked at a late 90's, last body style dodge reg cab, no bed, dually today. Place was closed, and I think it was their work truck with a flatbed on it before. Mileage through the window said 275XXX. 5spd diesel. I do not know anything about diesels, so what should I look at, check out, and ask about on this truck. It looked well maintained for the mileage. It is ironically owned by a petroleum maintenance company. What is the suspension like to lay out on the dodges? I know the motor is a good diesel to have, that Cummins turbo. I would love to have a dually crew cab, but I don't think they made one it that body style, otherwise, I would just swap the cab out and throw a shortbed on it with the dually fenders. What would be a fair price on a truck like this with the miles, and basically only a cab and chassis?... Anybody got pics or own one of these laid out on semi's?
Thanks

I have the same thoughts as PigRig and those body style Dodges are a pain in the a$$ to lay out. I always cut the Dodge stuff off and put on Chevy suspension. If you end up looking at the motor just check for oil blow-by and a blown turbo. JM2C

Yeah, that kinda confirmed what I was thinking.. I am not even gonna call back this morning about it. I really only liked the fact that it had the Cummins motor in it. Not crazy about Dodges at all, that body style of truck just feels old inside. Thanks for your help!
