1800 pound trailer, 3100 pound car, mostly between 60-70 mph, 40 miles loaded, 40 miles unloaded, auto, 454, 4.10 gears, 235/85s...

8.9mpg... Was hoping to see at least 10.

You guys doing anything to see better milage? Programmer? Exhaust? Anything?

Thinking smaller and lighter on the wheels and tires will help for sure. I don't really need D load rated tires either, would be surprised if I ever had 1000 pounds on the tongue or in the bed.

Anyway, just thought I would parlay my experience to you guys.

i get about 9 pulling the wedge, but i got an exhaust, chip, and a tranny cooler. Not sure what the wedge weighs but i put it at around 10,000lbs loaded.
