ok my pops just gave me his 64 so what do i have to do to lay rocker i know i have to start with Zing it but how much then what body drop it what ever is left... i heard of people just cutting the frame til it lays and put box tubing in the frame rail to reinforce it but does the same apply to the 64 i have all the basic parts already going to start in bout a month or two just need some help

ok all u gotta do is Z the front about 2.5in and it lays rocker pinch if u want to go down lowers (like i did) just remove the bodymounts and finde some that are just smaller thats how i got the extra inch lower out of mine, and youll have to cut out a cou ple 3 in sections out of the bed braces to lower it down to match the cab if u replace the bodymounts.

so its that easy just z it ... what body mounts did you use and if it lays the rocker with only a z that means i have to cut out the rocker for that extra inch right do you have any pics what about the step notch for the rear frame it has tha stupid ass curve right on top of the axle do they have a special notch for it

KP makes one but I dont know if it is enough to lay out on 22's. For the price you can buy the metal to back half it.

ok its not easy ur gonna have to raise ur trany tunnel a lil and make a spacer the the tranny crossmember but its all easy if u take ur time and now how to weld very well and god befor u cut the front take about 30 measurements then take about a million more u fuck up the frontend and the truck is scrap put have fun with it man. and as for the body mounts i had some lay'n around from another car adn i just cut them down a lil
