hey man i am in now and in iraq. i have been here for 10 months now. military has its ups and downs. i am in security forces. i am doing convoys right now. if you like being in the field and dealing with a lot of crazy shit go that way. but with your score man do what i am. i am cross training in april to metal tech. it is cnc machining and welding. that is what i would choose

I was in air force for a short period of time back in 91. I enjoyed it though. I say go for it.

Well, i would go for something that you can use when you get out....and something you are going to like...i was a sucker, and they stuck me on the flight line for 6 years, working avionics guidence and control. Sounds ok, but it yanked...i was great at what i did, but i hated the way shit was ran. With a 94, you can do just about anything, as long as you can qualify for a security clearance. If they ask, you havent smoke weed more than 3 times. I have a couple of friends that are recruiters now, if you think that you arent getting the right info, let me know and i will hook you up with someone that will lay it out honestly. Good luck homie.

I've been in for almost 4 years. Depending on what you like should determine your job choice. But definately find something that you can get paid for when you get out. I worked in Aircraft sheetmetal, which was awesome in my opinion, basically body work on aircraft, but I had an allergic reaction to epoxy and now I do computer networking. Either job equals money on the outside. And hey, if you don't like it, it is only four years. . .the length of high school for most people. . .LOL
